Midnight

Staffordshire Bull Terrier · Female · Puppy · 8 months

Midnight was born in a kennel environment and so has not experienced much of the world. She is inquisitive but often requires reassurance when she is worried. She will need help learning the basics, including housetraining and will need some general confidence building in her new home including building confidence around car travel so would like to have direct access to walks from her new home to remove the pressure for car travel straight away. Midnight is such a delightful girl and will make a wonderful addition to a family willing to give her the extra time she needs to settle into her new home. Midnight is a 7 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossbreed who is looking for a patient and understanding family to help her settle into her new home. She has never been in a home before so will need some time to find her paws with home life. She is a friendly girl who loves people, she can be nervous and would be worried by fast movements, loud noises or overhandling and so would be best suited to a home where any children are of Older Primary School age (8+) and can be understanding of this. Midnight can be worried but gains a lot of confidence from being with another dog and is looking to a join a home with a confident dog that can help show her the ropes and build her confidence. She can be quite full on with her playstyle so any dog must be a good match for her interaction style. Due to never being in a home before, Midnight will need someone with her the majority of the time initially, once settled, leaving hours will need to be gradually built up at a pace she is comfortable with. She will need her own secure garden so she has a safe space to play in and explore while she builds confidence with the outside world.

About Midnight

What life with Midnight looks like

Midnight is a puppy/kitten staffordshire bull terrier dog waiting at Dogs Trust Snetterton in Snetterton.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Midnight, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Midnight?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Dogs Trust Snetterton handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Midnight on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Midnight if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Dogs Trust Snetterton will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Midnight already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Midnight isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Dogs Trust Snetterton early rather than rehoming privately; they know Midnight and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
