Miel is a beautiful European cat who has been at the shelter since April 3, 2026. She is a female with a microchip number of 967000010643803, born on February 4, 2026, in Belgium. She has ataxia, a condition that affects her balance and coordination, causing her to sometimes stumble when moving. However, she is not in pain and simply takes a few "meals" from time to time, as her veterinarian affectionately puts it, without it affecting her joy or need for cuddles. Miel's most beautiful trait is that she is very affectionate and actively seeks human contact. She is a warm presence that just wants to snuggle up against you. Due to her ataxia, Miel needs an environment designed for her safety and comfort: - An apartment or house without stairs, easily accessible; - No unsupervised outdoor time. If a small garden is available, it must be carefully fenced, as Miel is skilled at sneaking through; - A small house or enclosed area where she can hide and sleep comfortably; - The ability to eat while lying down, as this is how she manages best. These few adjustments are enough to offer her a serene and happy life. Miel does not need pity, she needs a chance. Behind her sometimes awkward appearance is a loving cat who is just waiting for one thing: to find arms and a home where she can finally rest her paws, no matter how hesitant they may be. Cette jolie Européenne est atteinte d'ataxie, un trouble qui affecte son équilibre et sa coordination : elle chute parfois lors de ses déplacements. Mais que l'on se rassure tout de suite, elle ne souffre pas. Elle prend simplement, comme le dit affectueusement sa vétérinaire, « quelques gamelles » de temps en temps, sans que cela n'entame jamais sa joie de vivre ni son besoin de câlins.Car c'est bien là le plus beau trait de caractère de MIEL : elle est très câline et recherche activement le contact avec l'humain. Une présence chaleureuse qui ne demande qu'à se blottir contre vous.En raison de son ataxie, MIEL a besoin d'un environnement pensé pour sa sécurité et son confort :- Un appartement ou une maison sans escalier, facilement accessible ;- Aucune sortie sans surveillance. Si un jardinet est disponible, il doit être clôturé avec soin, car MIEL est habile pour se faufiler) ;- Une petite maison ou un bac fermé où elle peut se cacher et se coucher confortablement ;- La possibilité de manger couchée, car c'est ainsi qu'elle se débrouille le mieux.Ces quelques aménagements suffisent à lui offrir une vie sereine et heureuse.MIEL n'a pas besoin de pitié, elle a besoin d'une chance.
