Mieneken is a female cat, born on May 10, 2019. Like her companions Nanou and Fiery, she cannot move in and her owner is looking for a new home for them. Mieneken is described as a lap cat. She loves cuddling but can also enjoy a quiet spot for herself. She loves sunbathing. She would prefer to be the only cat pampered, but she has already lived with two other cats for 6 years, which means it can work as long as she is respected. She does not like dogs at all. She was tested FIV positive about 6 years ago and has been living indoors all those years. Please note: Mieneken, like her companions, is not sick! They are only carriers and can live a healthy life, as proven. It is unfortunate that many animals are written off by veterinarians simply because they are carriers. Mieneken is currently still in her familiar environment. We hope to be able to give her a home directly from there so we can save her a lot of stress. If you want to give her a home for her old age, please email us with information about your living and living situation, as well as your expectations, and don't forget to include a phone number.

Mieneken is een kattin, geboren op 10 mei 2019. Ze kan net als haar lotgenoten Nanou en Fiery niet mee verhuizen en dus zoekt de eigenaar een nieuwe thuis voor hen. Mieneken wordt omschreven als een schootpoes. Ze houdt van knuffelen maar kan ook genieten van een rustig plekje voor zichzelf. Ze houdt van zonnen. Ze zou liefst als enige poes vertroeteld worden maar ze leeft nu ook al 6 jaar samen met twee soortgenoten wat wil zeggen dat het wel kan zolang ze haar in haar waarde laten. Honden vindt ze absoluut niet fijn. Ze is zo'n 6 jaar geleden FIV positief getest en leeft al die jaren binnen. Wel te verstaan: Mieneken is net als haar lotgenoten niet ziek! Ze zijn enkel drager maar kunnen dus evengoed gezond oud worden, zo blijkt nog maar eens. Zo spijtig dat vele dieren zomaar worden afgeschreven door dierenartsen omdat ze drager zijn. Momenteel verblijft Mieneken nog in haar vertrouwde omgeving. We hopen haar van daaruit rechtstreeks een thuis te kunnen schenken zodat we haar veel stress kunnen besparen. Wie haar een thuisje wil bezorgen voor haar oude dag mag ons mailen naar met informatie over woon- en leefsituatie alsook verwachtingen en vergeet zeker niet om een telefoonnummer te vermelden aub.
