Hello everyone, this is Miepje speaking. A 2-year-old cat—curious, spirited, and just a tiny bit of a drama queen (but only when it’s really necessary). My life is actually one big adventure... with occasional moments of “just watching from a distance.” Because yes, I’m curious—but I do know exactly when to take the plunge. I’m the kind of cat who wants to know everything. What’s that sound? Who’s walking over there? Why is that door moving? But… if you’re thinking, “Oh great, I’m going to cuddle her right away!”—whoa there, take it easy! Let’s get to know each other first, let me check you out, and maybe then I’ll give you the green light. Right now, I live with a foster mom and lots of feline friends. And let me be honest: I absolutely love it. Playing, running around, roughhousing—I’m crazy about it! Other cats? Awesome. Humans? Hmm… work in progress. At first, everything was super exciting for me. A new place, new smells... I thought, “I’ll just keep an eye on things from a safe distance.” But meanwhile, I was keeping everything under close watch, you know. Nothing escapes Miepje’s attention. Slowly but surely, I’ve become braver. One step forward, then another step back (balance is key ;). Now I’m happily roaming around, playing with my feline friends, and hanging out everywhere a little bit. Curious? Always. Spirited? Absolutely. Sometimes I even sneak up close to my foster mom—just to see what she’s doing. Maybe take a little sniff... maybe just a tiny bit. But petting? Take it easy—I’m not one to rush things. What I really, really value, though, is having fun with other cats. That’s what really gets me going. Playing together is just so much more fun than playing alone. And if possible... Hallo mensen, Hier spreekt Miepje. Poes van 2 jaar. Nieuwsgierig. Pittig. En een klein beetje dramaqueen (maar alleen als het nodig is). Mijn leven is eigenlijk één groot avontuur… met af en toe een “even van een afstandje kijken”-momentje. Want ja, ik ben nieuwsgierig, maar ik bepaal wel zelf wanneer. Ik ben zo’n poes die alles wil weten. Wat is dat geluid? Wie loopt daar? Waarom beweegt die deur? Maar… als jij denkt: “oh leuk, ik ga haar meteen knuffelen!” — ho ho, rustig aan. Eerst even kennismaken, solliciteren, en misschien keur ik je dan goed. Ik woon nu bij een opvangmama met een heleboel kattenvriendjes. En laat ik eerlijk zijn: dat vind ik dus fantastisch. Spelen, rennen, stoeien — ik ben er gek op! Andere katten? Top. Mensen? Hmm… work in progress. In het begin vond ik alles superspannend. Nieuwe plek, nieuwe geurtjes… ik dacht: ik bekijk het wel even van een veilige afstand. Maar ondertussen hield ik alles scherp in de gaten, hoor. Niks ontsnapt aan Miepje. Langzaam maar zeker werd ik dapperder. Eerst een stapje vooruit, dan weer eentje terug (balans is belangrijk ;). Nu loop ik lekker rond, speel ik met mijn kattenvriendjes en ben ik overal een beetje bij. Nieuwsgierig? Altijd. Pittig? Zeker weten. Soms kom ik zelfs even in de buurt van mijn opvangmama. Gewoon, om te kijken wat ze doet. Misschien een snuffeltje… heel misschien. Maar aaien? Rustig aan, ik ben geen haastige dame. Wat ik wél héél belangrijk vind: gezelligheid met andere katten. Daar leef ik echt van op. Samen spelen is gewoon veel leuker dan alleen. Dus… ik ben op zoek naar een huisje met geduldige mensen die mij de tijd geven om te wennen.
