Miki is a beautiful Bernhardiner. He is extremely friendly with children and loves to snuggle with people. As he spent most of his life in the zoo, he had no opportunity for socialization with other dogs or cats. Therefore, he should be placed in a family, preferably with children but without other pets, and ideally with a garden. Car travel is okay. With a little coaxing and treats, he has boarded the transport, meaning that with some practice, it won’t be a problem. Due to his size, he is best suited for children over 12 years old. He walks calmly and without pulling on the leash. If other dogs are far away, he does not react at all. If they come too close, he may snap. Miki is currently in the animal shelter Pula in Croatia, i.e., not on any foster placement with Tierhilfe Franken. Miki can of course be transported to Germany with an official transporter. The president of Tierhilfe Franken e.V., Carmen Baur, met the Bernhardiner a few weeks ago and hopes very much that the nice male dog will soon find the right people. This animal has a history of biting.

Miki ist ein wunderschöner Bernhardiner. Er ist extrem lieb zu Kindern und kuschelt gerne mit Menschen. Da er den größten Teil seines Lebens im Zwinger verbracht hat, hatte er keine Möglichkeit zur Sozialisierung mit anderen Hunden oder Katzen. Er sollte deshalb in eine Familie, gerne auch mit Kindern, aber ohne andere Haustiere, möglichst mit Garten. Autofahren geht in Ordnung. Mit etwas gut zureden und Leckerlis ist er eingestiegen, das heißt mit etwas Üben kein Problem. Wegen seiner Größe am besten Kinder über 12 Jahre. Er geht brav und ohne zu ziehen an der Leine. Wenn andere Hunde weiter weg sind, reagiert er überhaupt nicht. Kommen sie ihm zu nahe, schnappt er nach ihnen. Miki ist aktuell im Tierheim Pula in Kroatien, d.h. auf keinem Pflegeplatz der Tierhilfe Franken . Miki kann natürlich mit einem offiziellen Transporteur nach Deutschland gebracht werden. Die 1. Vorsitzende der Tierhilfe Franken e.V., Carmen Baur, hat den Bernhardiner vor einigen Wochen persönlich kennengelernt und hofft sehr, dass sich für den netten Rüden bald die passenden Leute melden.
