Dit is Mikri! Mikri werd gevonden tijdens een TNR-programma (Trap-Neuter-Release) en vanaf het eerste moment was het duidelijk dat ze bij mensen wilde zijn. Omdat de omgeving niet geschikt was voor jonge kittens, werd ze gered door een lokale vrijwilliger en verblijft ze nu in een gastgezin in de hoop een liefdevol thuis te vinden. Mikri betekent ‘kleintje’ in het Grieks. Ze kreeg haar naam omdat ze de jongste en kleinste was in een kattenkolonie waar een sterilisatieprogramma plaatsvond. Mikri heeft een ongelooflijk zachtaardig en kalm karakter. Ze is lief en nieuwsgierig en is graag in de buurt van mensen zodra ze zich veilig voelt. Ze houdt van rustige plekjes, knusse plekjes om te rusten, “koekjes bakken” en de wereld om haar heen verkennen. Ze vindt het heerlijk om geaaid te worden of op schoot te zitten wanneer ze daar zin in heeft. Ze heeft in het begin een paar dagen nodig om nieuwe mensen en een nieuwe omgeving te leren kennen, maar daarna ontvouwt ze haar liefdevolle aard. Ze is sociaal met katten, honden en mensen. Ook is ze geschikt voor oudere kinderen. Ze kan worden opgetild door mensen die ze kent. Mikri wordt alleen als binnenkat geplaatst. Mikri is gesteriliseerd. Mikri is gevaccineerd. Mikri is negatief getest op FIV/FeLV. Update September 2026: Mikri en Lazo zijn erg vriendelijk naar elkaar. Mikri is een makkelijke kat; ze is graag bij mensen, laat zich graag aaien en slaapt graag bij je op schoot. Al onze kittens worden uitsluitend in een huisje geplaatst waar al een andere kat aanwezig is, of als duo!
