Mila Glücksbringer auf vier Pfoten

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 9 years

I am female, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and born in 2012. I am approximately 55 cm tall. I have been waiting since November 2017 for a home. My caretakers say about me: Mila came to us through a friendly association. Mila is always open, friendly, and curious; she rushes into all new situations with enthusiasm. The classic good-natured dog who loudly comments on the start of a walk and wants to explore the world, she is delighted by any two-legged being who takes the time. Currently, Mila lives with a male dog, and they form more of a partnership than a relationship. She enjoys company but can sometimes be frustrated and has the talent to guide even the most assertive males, intuitively. Occasionally, she also wants some peace. So, she gets along well in a group setting, but not with same-sex dogs. She greets all humans with great enthusiasm, is always happy when it's time for a walk. While out, she is a pleasant companion, always on task, always available and approachable—she is fully there for the person who gives her these moments. Social contact with fellow animals should be facilitated in dog training classes and in dog groups to allow her to fully enjoy play and work and to practice obedience in the presence of other dogs. On walks, she passes by other fellow animals calmly. Mila is clearly looking for a two-legged being who is at least as lively, curious, spontaneous, and adventurous as she is. A confident and compatible male dog, if already present, would perfect her happiness in the new home, but it is not a condition. The same goes for the house and property; if it is there, it would be nice, but it is not strictly necessary. Mila will surely settle into the new home and feel like it has always been there. Mila would be delighted, she would be eager to be… we are convinced that the person who chooses her will be Mila's chosen one. Even being alone will work well after a short adjustment period, we think she only needs to arrive.

About Mila Glücksbringer auf vier Pfoten

What life with Mila Glücksbringer auf vier Pfoten looks like

Mila Glücksbringer auf vier Pfoten is a medium-sized senior mixed breed dog waiting at Tierheim Schkortitz in Grimma.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mila Glücksbringer auf vier Pfoten, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mila Glücksbringer auf vier Pfoten?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Schkortitz handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mila Glücksbringer auf vier Pfoten on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mila Glücksbringer auf vier Pfoten if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Schkortitz will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mila Glücksbringer auf vier Pfoten already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mila Glücksbringer auf vier Pfoten isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Schkortitz early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mila Glücksbringer auf vier Pfoten and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
