Mila

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten · 3 months

Mila fecha de nacimiento / dob: 15-06-2026 aprox.Personality: Mila is one of those kittens who walks into a room and immediately makes it clear that she has a mind of her own. She’s determined, playful, and a little mischievous, although afterward she looks at you with an innocent expression and rolls over to show you her belly as if nothing had happened. 😸When it comes to food, for example, she knows exactly what she wants: her siblings can eat peacefully side by side, but Mila prefers to make sure no one gets too close to her can of food. A swat here, another there… and, if necessary, she’ll scoop a little food off the plate to take it to a safer spot. Just in case. 😂She won’t budge when it comes to her little stuffed mouse either. It’s her treasure, and she defends it tooth and nail, doing whatever it takes to make sure no one takes it away from her. She’s very playful, so she does this instinctively. And when it’s time to play, her specialty is hide-and-seek: she crawls into the tunnel, hides, and waits patiently for one of her siblings to walk by so she can give them a good scare. 🐭But Mila also has a very sweet side. After her adventures, she might lie down, all relaxed, look at you with that “it wasn’t me” face, and show you her belly so you’ll give her a cuddle.Mila has a strong personality, that's for sure. And that's exactly part of her charm. She's a kitten with a lot of personality, tons of energy, and plenty of initiative… but she's also a little cuddle bug who knows how to earn her cuddles whenever she feels like it. 💛The family consists of Tsuki, the mother, and her five little ones: Sam, Aperol, Spritz, Mila, and Toffee. They were born under a fig tree in a neighbor’s yard. Tsuki is far too trusting and affectionate to have had to fend for herself on the street: she used to have a family, but ended up being abandoned while she was pregnant. We were able to rescue her when her babies were barely a week old, and since then they’ve grown up together in a foster home, surrounded by care and without ever experiencing the cruelty of the streets. Now Tsuki is also waiting for her second chance: a real family—the kind that’s here to stay. 💛And if there’s one thing that defines this family, it’s that they’re a true team. Where one goes, they all go. A run, a game, a nap… there’s always someone else who joins in. Because growing up together has taught them something they seem to understand very clearly: being together is always better. 🐾If adopting as a pair we recommend: Any of her siblings. Can Iive with kids? Yes, of course! Can live with other animals? Yes. Untested with dogs but we think he'd be fine.Ideal home: Living with one of her siblings or other compatible cat(s) with any type of family, whether single, a couple, or a larger family that enjoys a playful kitten with personality who loves to be part of everything. Please note that we give priority to people who already have another compatible cat living with them or who adopt a pair.A balcony or terrace is always a plus! Adopta! <img src="

About Mila

What life with Mila looks like

Mila is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Gatalunya Cat Rescue in Spain.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mila, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mila?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Gatalunya Cat Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mila on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mila if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Gatalunya Cat Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mila already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mila isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Gatalunya Cat Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mila and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
