TIZÓN, a feral cat with ataxia in the street We were alerted because a person was taking care of a feral cat colony of cats in their residential area, in Seville capital. This person cared for a certain number of cats until one day the cats started to bother them... The cats were captured for neutering by some people and were returned to a nearby vacant lot where they had been living in the feral cat colony, where they were given food and water. Tizón was a feral cat from this feral cat colony that suffered from ataxia (a neurological disorder that makes her walk differently). Tizón is a feral cat who hopes to find a safe place where she can be happy for the rest of her life. Do you want to be the family that gives her a new and desired opportunity? She is healthy, with negative tests. She is available for adoption or foster care, dewormed, chipped, vaccinated, and neutered. She can travel to other provinces. Personality:

About Tizón

What life with Tizón looks like

Tizón is an adult mixed breed cat waiting at Gatas Salvajes in Seville.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tizón, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tizón?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Gatas Salvajes handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tizón on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tizón if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Gatas Salvajes will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Tizón already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tizón isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Gatas Salvajes early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tizón and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
