Milada had been dumped as a pup and her previous owners neighbours spent the best part of a year trying to gain her trust. Time passed and Milada had a litter of puppies and they had become subject to abuse from the local children. One puppy had already been killed. The neighbours managed to get 3 of the pups first and took them to the shelter until a few days later when they were able to catch Milada and her remaining pup. Milada learned to trust people and became a very happy girl. She is still with us here at the shelter.
