The European Shorthair cats Simbala and MILAN are looking for a new home together. Simbala was born on 03.01.2021, and MILAN on 26.11.2020. Both are neutered and closely bonded, so they can only be rehomed together. Simbala and MILAN are two friendly, people-oriented, and cuddly cats who greatly enjoy the proximity of their trusted people. Both are playful and have a good temperament, with Simbala being the more active and self-assured of the two. MILAN shows a bit of shyness and reticence at first but warms up with a bit of patience and develops into a loving companion. Overall, he is a bit more laid-back than Simbala. For the two of them, a large apartment with plenty of space for playing, running, and exploring is sought. A fully cat-safe netted balcony is mandatory so that they can enjoy fresh air and environmental stimuli safely. They get along well with fellow animals and can happily move into a household with larger, understanding children. Since Simbala and MILAN are very people-oriented, they should not be left alone regularly for long periods. People who enjoy being deeply involved with their cats and stimulating them both physically and mentally would be ideal. Especially welcome are applicants who are open to working together with a behavior consultant on an optimal introduction and mental stimulation for the two. Die Europäisch-Kurzhaar-Katzen Simbala und Milan suchen gemeinsam ein neues Zuhause. Simbala wurde am 03.01.2021 geboren, Milan am 26.11.2020. Beide sind kastriert und eng miteinander verbunden, weshalb sie nur zusammen vermittelt werden. Simbala und Milan sind zwei zutrauliche, menschenbezogene und verschmuste Katzen, die die Nähe ihrer Bezugspersonen sehr genießen. Beide sind verspielt und temperamentvoll, wobei Simbala die aktivere und selbstbewusstere der beiden ist. Milan zeigt sich anfangs etwas schüchtern und zurückhaltend, taut jedoch mit etwas Geduld auf und entwickelt sich zu einem liebevollen Begleiter. Insgesamt ist er etwas ruhiger als Simbala. Für die beiden wird eine große Wohnung mit ausreichend Platz zum Spielen, Toben und Entdecken gesucht. Ein vollständig vernetzter Balkon ist dabei zwingend erforderlich, damit sie sicher frische Luft und Umweltreize genießen können. Sie verstehen sich gut mit Artgenossen und können gerne in einen Haushalt mit größeren, verständigen Kindern ziehen. Da Simbala und Milan sehr auf ihre Menschen bezogen sind, sollten sie nicht regelmäßig über längere Zeit alleine bleiben müssen. Menschen, die Freude daran haben, sich intensiv mit ihren Katzen zu beschäftigen und sie sowohl körperlich als auch geistig auszulasten, wären ideal. Besonders willkommen sind Interessenten, die offen dafür sind, gemeinsam mit einem Verhaltensberater an einer optimalen Eingewöhnung und Beschäftigung der beiden zu arbeiten. Simbala und Milan neigen dazu, verschiedenste Gegenstände anzuknabbern oder zu verschlucken, darunter beispielsweise Plastik, Haargummis, Kabel, Silikonartikel oder Schwämme. Daher ist es wichtig, ihr Umfeld entsprechend katzensicher zu gestalten und die beiden gut im Auge zu behalten. Aufgrund dieses Verhaltens sowie ihrer engen Bindung an ihre Menschen kommt Freigang für die beiden nicht in Frage.
