Voor Millie zoeken we een thuis waar ze eventueel op termijn naar buiten kan in een veilige omgeving. Karakter en achtergrond van de kat: Millie werd hoogzwanger aangetroffen in een tuin. Opmerkelijk genoeg had ze daar een jaar eerder ook al een nestje gekregen, waarna ze plotseling verdween. Tot ieders verrassing dook ze een jaar later weer op, alsof er niets was gebeurd. Dankzij het eindeloze geduld van de vinders kon ze uiteindelijk veilig worden gevangen. Eenmaal in de opvang ontpopte Millie zich tot een dame die, als ze je eenmaal vertrouwt, ontzettend graag kopjes komt geven. Op maandag 20 april bracht ze maar liefst vijf prachtige kittens ter wereld. En wat een supermama is het: ze adopteerde er zonder twijfel zelfs nog een zesde baby bij! Voor Millie komen haar kleintjes momenteel op de eerste plaats. Hoewel ze stiekem enorm geniet van een aaitje, vindt ze het nu met al die actieve kittens om zich heen nog wat te druk. Vertrouwen is voor haar het sleutelwoord; geef haar de tijd en ze komt de knuffels uiteindelijk vanzelf bij je halen. Spelen begrijpt ze op dit moment nog niet zo goed, haar focus ligt echt volledig op haar gezin. Voor Millie zoeken we een rustig thuis zonder al te veel drukte, waar ze na een rustige gewenningsperiode ook veilig naar buiten kan. Op dit moment heeft ze geen behoefte aan een kattenvriendje, al kan dat in de toekomst nog veranderen. Alle katten zijn ontvlooid, ontwormd, gevaccineerd, gesteriliseerd, gechipt en geregistreerd. We vragen de gebruikelijke tussenkomst in de dierenartskosten van 200 euro wanneer beide vaccinaties al gegeven werden. Adoptieprocedure: Er wordt eerst telefonisch nagegaan of er een goede match kan zijn tussen jou en de kat, nadien kan een afspraak gemaakt worden voor een bezoekje zodat jullie met elkaar kunnen kennis maken. Bij adoptie wordt een adoptiecontract getekend en de adoptiebijdrage wordt betaald bij het afhalen van de kat. Iedere kat vertrekt met een Europees paspoort.
