Het verhaal van Miney: Op veel Griekse eilanden, zoals ook op Lefkas, is het zwerfhonden probleem groot, met name puppy dumping, met of zonder moeder. Gelukkig zijn er altijd zeer bevlogen dierenliefhebbers die zich dagelijks inzetten voor de arme dieren. Sinds ruim vijftien jaar biedt ‘Little Friends Lefkas’ hulp aan dieren in nood. Knappe Miney werd samen met zijn 2 zusjes (Meney en Eeny) en broertje (Mo) door iemand achtergelaten in een afgelegen landelijke omgeving, zonder water, zonder eten. Toen ze werden gevonden, hadden ze huidproblemen. Gelukkig zijn ze nu helemaal opgeknapt, in goede gezondheid en klaar voor een gezond en gelukkig leven. Miney heeft een ontzettend sociaal karakter en bekommert zich om iedereen. Hij is gek op knuffelen met de vrijwilligers van Little Friends Lefkas. Het is een echte aanwinst voor elk leuk en lief gezin dat graag een hondje echt als onderdeel van het gezin wil laten zijn. Miney gaat goed om met kinderen, andere honden en katten. Hij heeft een prachtige zwarte vacht en heeft een mooi getekend koppie en zelfs 4 witte voetjes! Geschatte geboortedatum is 5.5.2026. Miney is nu 5 kilo (10.8.2026) en we denken dat hij ongeveer 15 kilo zal gaan wegen. Hij is nu 27 cm schouderhoogte. Hij zal natuurlijk hier in Nederland nog wel aan alle nieuwe dingen moeten wennen. Zo zijn de geluiden van druk verkeer van (vracht)auto’s, fatbikes nieuw, net als de deurbel, televisie of bijvoorbeeld een slaande klok. De ontdekkingsreis in ons land vraagt natuurlijk tijd en geduld van de adoptant. Waar is dat leuke lieve gezin waar Miney de rest van zijn leven onderdeel van mag gaan uitmaken?
