Minka was surrendered to us because her owner passed away. This has affected her deeply, which is why she does not yet want to let any people get close to her. In the meantime, she has started to show interest in cat fishing toys and is already playing with them. Minka already cuddles "through the bars" and is visibly relaxed and happy, as long as the people stay on the other side of the grate. When our caregivers then enter her compartment, Minka becomes tense and insecure again. Her "protective barrier," the grate, is no longer between her and the person. She is looking for a new home whose residents would like to slowly earn her trust. The home should be correspondingly quiet.

Minka wurde bei uns abgegeben, da ihre Besitzerin verstorben ist. Dies hat sie sehr mitgenommen, weswegen sie noch keinen Menschen an sich ran lassen möchte. Mittlerweile zeigt sie Interesse an Katzenangeln und spielt auch schon damit. Minka schmust bereits "mit dem Gitter" und ist sichtlich entspannt/ glücklich - solange die Menschen hinter dem Gitter bleiben. Wenn unsere PflegerInnen daraufhin ins Abteil gehen, wird Minka wieder etwas angespannter und unsicherer. Ihre “Schutzbarriere” - das Gitter - ist nicht mehr zwischen ihr und Mensch. Sie sucht ein neues Zuhause, deren Bewohner langsam ihr Vertrauen gewinnen möchten. Das Zuhause sollte entsprechend ruhig sein.
