Mira came to the animal shelter as a stray in May 2014 and left for a new home in August of the same year. Now she is back with us, as her owners returned her to the animal shelter after 11 years due to inability to care for her. Mira is a wonderful pastel tricolor with a typical cat personality, who likes to be petted until she doesn't. She is calm, does not need much attention, but is social and sometimes playful. We would really be happy if she could spend her old age somewhere of her own, where she will have her peace and loving owners. She will need attention regarding her diet, as joint pains are already showing due to excessive body weight. Veterinarily she is fully up to date, meaning spayed, vaccinated, deparasitized, negative on the FIV and FeLV test. All kittens, housed at Mačji dol animal shelter, are vet checked, vaccinated against contagious diseases, treated for external and internal parasites and chipped. All sufficiently aged animals are already spayed, neutered and tested for feline AIDS (FIV) and leukemia (FeLV). Kittens are used to cleanliness, the company of other cats and are mostly very affectionate. All special features and character traits of individual animals are written in their ads. Mira je v zavetišče prišla kot dudarka v maju 2014 in že istega leta avgusta odšla v nov dom. Sedaj je zopet pri nas, saj so jo lastniki po 11 letih zaradi nezmožnosti oskrbe vrnili v zavetišče. Mira je sicer čudovita pastelna trikolorka s tipičnim mačjim karakterjem, ki ji paše crkljanje dokler ji ne. Mirna, ne rabi veliko pozornosti, vendar je družabna, tudi občasno igriva. Res bi bili veseli, če lahko svoja stara leta preživi nekje na svojem, kjer bo imela svoj mir in ljubeče lastnike. Potrebna bo pozornost pri prehrani, saj se že kažejo bolečine v sklepih zaradi prekomerne telesne teže. Veterinarsko je v celoti urejena, torej sterilizirana, cepljena, razparazitena, negativna na testu za FIV in FeLV. Vsi mucki, nastanjeni v zavetišču Mačji dol, so veterinarsko pregledani, cepljeni proti kužnim boleznim, imajo odpravljene zunanje in notranje zajedavce ter so čipirani. Vse dovolj stare živali so že sterilizirane, kastirane ter testirane na mačji aids (FIV) in levkozo (FeLV). Mucki so vajeni čistoče, družbe drugih muck in so večinoma zelo scrkljani. Vse posebnosti in karakterne značilnosti posameznih živali so zapisane v njihovih oglasih. V spodnjih oglasih ni nujno vseh muckov, ki so nastanjeni v zavetišču.
