adoption requirements adoption process Inquire about this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Inquire about this cat now! The striped beauty’s life so far has been marked by uncertainty and hardship. She was kept as a secret pet by a few children without their parents’ knowledge. While they did care for her, the lack of medical care, a safe and cozy place to sleep, and the daily affection every cat needs meant it was anything but a real home. After Miraculix was eventually discovered by the children’s parents, she came to us into foster care. Here, it became clear just how incredibly loving and people-oriented Miraculix truly is. Nothing makes her happier than attention and cuddles. She’s always seeking human closeness—talking to them, following them around, and wanting to be part of everything her humans do. This little tiger lady has so much love to give and delights in any kind of physical contact, whether it’s snuggling, sitting on your lap, or being held in your arms—this is where her heart truly blossoms. Anyone who adopts Miraculix will be rewarded with warmth, affection, and loyal companionship! Although her heart truly belongs to her humans, Miraculix also enjoys the company of other cats and loves cuddling and playing with them. Therefore, we’re looking for a home where at least one other cat already lives—or could move in with her. Furthermore, we only rehome her to strictly indoor, apartment-friendly environments—she wants to leave her old insecure life behind and always feel safe and secure. We’ve noticed that Miraculix shows slight sensitivity to certain foods, so her adopters would need to ensure she receives food she tolerates well. Miraculix would love to pack her little suitcase and start her new life with you for an adoption fee—of course, she’ll come microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and with her EU pet passport. She has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. If you’d like to be Miraculix’s miracle and give her a warm home filled with endless love, we look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks to Meli! Thanks to you, Miraculix received her wonderful name—and thus, her identity! As of: 05.05. This cat is to be kept indoors only.

Vielen Dank an Meli! Stand: 05.05.2026

About Miraculix

What life with Miraculix looks like

Miraculix is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Miraculix, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Miraculix?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Miraculix on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Miraculix if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Miraculix already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Miraculix isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Miraculix and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
