adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Misa has found her home! Her story: Today, we would like to introduce you to the little Misa – and be amazed, because in the animal shelter, beautiful blossoms can sometimes be fluffy and black with white paw tips. Unfortunately, we know very little about the five-year-old mouse. She was likely abandoned in an industrial area in Bistrița. Kind people discovered and rescued her. Currently, she is waiting for a foster home to travel to a safe forever home. Misa is a rather small female dog, 36 cm in length, who can be happy both on the land and in the city. She gets along well with fellow animals. She also shows friendliness towards cats. Whether and to what extent she knows and masters the lessons of the Dog 1×1, we unfortunately do not know. But we are quite sure that Misa will learn training units willingly and obediently, as she presents herself at her foster home friendly, magical, and attentive. For the sweet Misa, we wish for a loving person or a warm, attentive family. After the terrible experience of being left behind, Misa should now feel safe and relaxed, lying in her cuddly basket. Comfortable walks, play, and snuggle sessions will certainly be more than pleasing for Misa. Once she has settled in and gained trust, she will most likely be a faithful and cuddly companion. Would you like to snuggle with Misa and sniff at beautiful, fragrant flowers? Her little suitcase is packed by the end of November. Our fluffy mouse would of course also be happy to find a foster home. Due to her shortened tail, she unfortunately cannot enter Switzerland. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Angel, who gave Misa this wonderful name. Status: 08.11. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Stand: 08.11.2025

About Misa

What life with Misa looks like

Misa is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Misa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Misa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Misa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Misa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Misa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Misa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Misa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
