Mats is a lively dog who wants to be challenged. He loves working, learning new things, and mastering tasks together with his person. Mats kam als Fundhund ins Tierheim und wurde seitdem nicht vermisst. Nun sucht der sportliche Rüde ein endgültiges Zuhause. Fremden Menschen begegnet Mats anfangs ein wenig zurückhaltend, taut allerdings schnell auf und zeigt dann seine freundliche und aufgeschlossene Seite. Er ist neugierig und lernfreudig, probiert jedoch aus, wo die Grenzen liegen er benötigt klare Regeln und eine konsequente Führung, welche er dann gut annehmen kann. Mats sucht ein Zuhause als Einzelhund, da er sich mit Artgenossen nicht sonderlich verträglich zeigt. Kleine Hunde, Katzen und andere Kleintiere sieht er als Beute, demnach sollten diese nicht in seinem neuen Zuhause leben. An Hundebegegnungen muss weiterhin aktiv mit ihm gearbeitet werden. Mats ist ein lebensfroher Hund, der gefordert werden möchte. Er liebt es, zu arbeiten, Neues zu lernen und gemeinsam mit seinem Menschen Aufgaben zu meistern.
