Missan(väntar besök)

Female

Missan is a small, shy, curious and playful female cat. She doesn't like being carried, but she'll gladly curl up close to you and cuddle. Do you like yoga? Missan loves it too! She'll happily stretch on the mat. She'll even want to be on it when you're doing yoga. Missan enjoys hiding, snuggling in different corners, but don't worry, she's not very good at hide-and-seek. Her hock injury is the reason for her incredible lovely purring, so you'll always know where she is. Missan has always been an indoor cat. She and my dog have started to get along a bit, so she'll be used to dogs. Missan is a lovely friend for you who is longing for a cat that is calm, wants to cuddle but on her own terms.

About Missan(väntar besök)

What life with Missan(väntar besök) looks like

Missan(väntar besök) is a small adult dog waiting at Djurens Vanner Goteborg in Sweden.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇸🇪Adopting from Sweden

Swedish shelters require an adoption application and home visit. Animals are chipped, vaccinated, and sterilized. Cross-border placements within the EU use the standard pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Missan(väntar besök), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Missan(väntar besök)?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Djurens Vanner Goteborg handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Missan(väntar besök) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Missan(väntar besök) if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Djurens Vanner Goteborg will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Missan(väntar besök) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Missan(väntar besök) isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Djurens Vanner Goteborg early rather than rehoming privately; they know Missan(väntar besök) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (SV). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
