There are lives that begin… but never truly get to begin. Misty was born in 2016 and grew up within the our shelter. Still a baby, she witnessed all of her siblings depart for a home. She stayed. And stayed until today. She never knew the silence of a home. She never had someone all to herself. She grew up among routines, bars, and farewells that weren’t for her. Misty is sociable with other animals, but in relation to the world… she still has fear. And how could she not? She was never shown that the world could be safe. She will need time. Patience. A family very aware, that doesn’t expect a “ready” dog, but someone who needs to learn everything from the start. Misty isn’t an easy case. But it is a deeply true case. After so many years waiting, Misty doesn’t need luck. She needs someone who chooses her… and doesn’t give up. Perhaps for the first time in her life.

Há vidas que começam… mas nunca chegam verdadeiramente a começar. A Misty nasceu em 2016 e cresceu dentro do abrigo. Ainda bebé, viu todos os seus irmãos partirem para uma casa. Ela ficou. E ficou até hoje. Nunca conheceu o silêncio de um lar. Nunca teve alguém só dela. Cresceu entre rotinas, grades e despedidas que não eram para si. A Misty é sociável com outros animais, mas em relação ao mundo… ainda tem medo. E como não teria? Nunca lhe foi mostrado que o mundo pode ser seguro. Vai precisar de tempo. De paciência. De uma família muito consciente, que não espere uma cadela “pronta”, mas sim alguém que precisa de aprender tudo desde o início. A Misty não é um caso fácil. Mas é um caso profundamente verdadeiro. Depois de tantos anos à espera, a Misty não precisa de sorte. Precisa de alguém que a escolha… e que não desista. Talvez pela primeira vez na vida.
