Miu Miu

Female · Adult · 5 years

Meet Miu Miu! A loving and adventurous cat with a sensitive side. She is so ready to find her forever home! Once Miu Miu is feeling comfortable, her adorable and affectionate personality blossoms. She greets people with a happy chirp and affectionately rubs around their legs. She has been known to enjoy a cuddle or two, and she’s a big purrer. She has lots of energy to bring to her new home, whether that be chasing her string toy, batting around a pom pom, or exploring. She's even taken to carrying her string toy in her mouth and bringing it over when she wants to play. She’s very intelligent. She’s looking for owners who are happy to let her lead on interactions, as she’s a strong independent lady who knows what she likes. Miu Miu would thrive in a calm and quiet home, with patient owners who can let her settle in at her own pace. She would benefit from having a spare room to settle into, but a quiet area could be ok depending on the home. She will require outside access in her new home. She can’t wait to really stretch her legs in the great outdoors. She will need a permanent litter tray indoors. She is suitable to live with teenagers and above. She isn’t suited to living with other animals. About Miu Miu

What life with Miu Miu looks like

Miu Miu is a medium-sized adult cat waiting at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Miu Miu, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Miu Miu?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Battersea Dogs & Cats Home handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Miu Miu on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Miu Miu if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Battersea Dogs & Cats Home will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Miu Miu already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Miu Miu isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home early rather than rehoming privately; they know Miu Miu and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
