Finch would cower in the corner, while Lark stayed close by his brother’s side, trying his best to protect him. 💔 Fast forward two months… and these boys have completely blossomed. 🌸 Now they are affectionate, curious little companions who love being involved in daily life. Finch, once the timid one, has become incredibly outgoing and inquisitive. He loves climbing onto shoulders to supervise what’s going on and is endlessly curious about everything around him — usually with a paw stuck right in the middle of it! 💙 Lark, while now the slightly shyer brother, absolutely adores attention too. He loves chasing toys and has the sweetest little chirps and meows when he wants someone to play with him. 🥹 Both boys are huge snuggle bugs who love curling up in bed at night, with Finch especially loving to sleep on the pillows nearby until morning. They are now fully trained with scratching posts and have excellent manners around the home. They would fit beautifully into almost any family and could happily live with children and other animals with sensible introductions. These boys have come so far from the frightened kittens they once were, and they truly deserve a home where they’ll continue to thrive together. ✨ Bonded brothers – must stay together ✨ Loving, affectionate and playful ✨ Excellent companions ✨ Ready to become part of the family ✔ Neutered ✔ Vaccinated ✔ Microchipped ✔ Flea & worm treated ✔ 5 weeks free Agria insurance If you’re looking for two cats who will fill a home with companionship, cuddles, and personality, Lark & Finch could be the perfect pair. 💙 👉 APPLY HERE CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION FORM

About Lark & Finch

What life with Lark & Finch looks like

Lark & Finch is a extra-large puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Friends of Animals Wales in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lark & Finch, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lark & Finch?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Friends of Animals Wales handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lark & Finch on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lark & Finch if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Friends of Animals Wales will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lark & Finch already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lark & Finch isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Friends of Animals Wales early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lark & Finch and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
