MJ came to the shelter together with Nala; both were taken in by the Ordnungsamt (municipal authority) after a biting incident with another dog and classified as dangerous. We got to know MJ as a sweet, affectionate female dog who quickly builds trust and is very happy around her familiar people. She meets strangers with a neutral, open attitude. She also handles all routine check-ups by our veterinarian without any problems. MJ is generally compatible with other dogs, though it depends on whether she likes them. On the leash she usually walks calmly, but during encounters she can occasionally bark and lunge. Because of her prey drive, we are looking for a home for MJ without cats or small animals. She can move into a household with children aged about 10 and up. Due to her official classification, MJ is subject to leash and muzzle requirements in public areas. Her new owners must complete the Sachkundenachweis (certificate of expertise). We are happy to advise on this and can refer you to suitable professional trainers to prepare for the Wesenstest (temperament assessment).

Mj kam mit Nala zusammen ins Tierheim, beide wurden nach einem Beißvorfall mit einem anderen Hund durch das Ordnungsamt sichergestellt und als gefährlich eingestuft.Wir haben MJ als eine liebe und zutrauliche Hündin kennengelernt, die schnell Vertrauen fasst und sich sehr mit ihren Bezugspersonen freut. Fremden Personen begegnet sie neutral und offen. Auch jegliche Kontrolluntersuchungen durch unsere Tierärztin meistert sie problemlos. MJ ist grundsätzlich verträglich mit anderen Hunden, hier entscheidet die Sympathie. An der Leine läuft sie meist entspannt, kann aber bei Begegnungen auch durchaus mal pöbeln.Aufgrund jagdlicher Motivation suchen wir für MJ ein Zuhause ohne Katzen und Kleintiere. Sie kann in einen Haushalt mit Kindern ab ca.10 Jahren ziehen. Aufgrund ihrer amtlichen Einstufung unterliegt MJ dem Leinen- und Maulkorbzwang auf öffentlichem Gelände. Ihre neuen Halter müssen den Sachkundenachweis absolvieren, wir beraten hierzu gerne und vermitteln an fachlich geeignete Trainer zur Vorbereitung auf den Wesenstest.
