Mo

English Bulldog · Male · Young · 2 years

This young man is Mo. Mo is a French Bulldog male (15 kg), born in December 2024. Mo lived in a family where the presence of children caused him too much stress. Now he is looking for the right home! Character Mo is an enthusiastic, energetic, playful and sweet guy. He likes to walk and does that quite a bit. He knows life in the house and is housebroken. Being alone is a point of attention for shelter animals at first, so rebuilding is the message. Mo is a real sweetheart and a typical bulldozer. Care Mo is not neutered. He has, as is well known in this breed, narrow nasal openings. We are looking for adopters who are aware that he will have to undergo an operation in the near future to enlarge his nasal openings. Mo also receives a suitable diet to prevent skin problems. Finally, he currently suffers from an ear infection for which he receives medication. Placement We are looking for adopters who live in a quiet environment, where Mo can enjoy a fenced garden. Mo can be placed as a dog alone or with a stable, strong female. Also quiet children from 12 years can certainly come to get to know each other.

AchtergrondDeze jongeman is Mo.

About Mo

What life with Mo looks like

Mo is a young adult english bulldog dog waiting at Dierenasiel Sint-Truiden in Sint-Truiden.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇧🇪Adopting from Belgium

Belgian shelters operate under regional law (Flanders, Wallonia, Brussels each have their own rules). All adoptions include the Eurochip, vaccinations, and a stewardship contract. Several Flemish shelters partner with Dutch and German rescue networks.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Dierenasiel Sint-Truiden handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Dierenasiel Sint-Truiden will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Dierenasiel Sint-Truiden early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
