Yuzu, Miso and Sora are three handsome brothers looking for their forever homes. They came into our care after being rescued from an overcrowding situation, where they had lived alongside a large number of other cats. Despite their difficult start, they have grown into happy, playful and affectionate kittens who are ready to begin the next chapter of their lives. As they came from a home where other cats had suffered from cat flu, we’d like to be open about their background. Miso and Sora both experienced some mild eye inflammation when they were very young kittens, which resolved completely with treatment. Yuzu currently has some inflammation in one of his eyes and is receiving eye drops. He is otherwise bright and well, and we will continue to cover the cost of his treatment until the issue has fully resolved. Most cats recover from cat flu without any long-term problems. Some fight the virus off completely, while others may become carriers. Because of this, we recommend that any resident cats in their new home are kept up to date with their vaccinations to help minimise any risk. Their early experiences don’t define them. Yuzu, Miso and Sora are healthy, loving young cats with so much to offer, and they deserve the chance to leave their difficult beginnings behind and enjoy the happy, secure homes they’ve been waiting for.
