Mochi is een zachtaardig katertje, hij kwam samen met zijn 4 broertjes en mama in opvang. Het groot gezinnetje probeerde voorheen te overleven met honger en zonder menselijke zorgen. In de veilige opvangkamer bloeiden ze één voor één open tot lieve, speelse en gezonde katjes. Mochi is een voorbeeldige lieverd, hij is graag bij zijn mensen maar houdt er ook van om samen met de andere opvangertjes te ravotten of samen te slapen. Hij is gek van kleine balletjes of veertjes en loopt er actief mee door de living. Soms durft hij nog eens te verschieten of komt zijn timide aard nog even boven. Maar met iets lekkers of een speelhengel is hij dat algauw weer vergeten.
