Karakter en achtergrond van de kat: Waar komt hij vandaan? Geen idee. Maar op een goede dag stond Moes daar plots. Waarschijnlijk aangetrokken door de andere goed gevoederde katten die hij zag en zelf wel op zoek naar iets lekkers. Hij kwam, zag dat het goed was, en bleef gewoon. Zo koos Moes zelf zijn plekje uit. Maar… Moes houdt niet van andere katten, helemaal niet. Op zijn uitgekozen plekje kreeg hij dagelijks zijn eten, had hij een droog plekje om te slapen, maar hij kon er de andere katten niet verdragen. De situatie werd onhoudbaar dus moest er een andere oplossing voor Moes komen. Zo waaide Moes onze richting uit. Waar Moes wel van houdt, is van mensen. Hij krijgt graag veel aandacht. Hij houdt er van om op je schoot te liggen soezen en intussen non-stop geaaid te worden. Op je arm zitten en zijn hoofd in je hals leggen? Tuurlijk, dat doet hij ook. Knuffelen is zijn favoriete bezigheid. Zijn onverdraagzaamheid naar andere katten toe zal waarschijnlijk de oorzaak zijn dat hij ooit besmet werd met het fiv-virus. Hij zal gevochten hebben met een andere kat die er ook mee besmet is. Op zich heeft hij er geen last van, behalve dan in zijn mondje. Zijn tandvlees was erg ontstoken, daar kreeg hij geregeld een kuur cortisone voor. Omdat het nooit echt helemaal verdwijnt wordt hij nu blijvend op een lage dosis gehouden. Dit zorgt ervoor dat de ontsteking onder controle blijft, want we willen absoluut niet dat hij pijn in zijn mond heeft. De medicatie neemt hij vlot in als het in wat lekkers gegeven wordt. Voor Moes zoeken we mensen die graag aandacht geven. Moes kan perfect alleen thuis blijven maar heeft toch ook wel wat aandacht nodig. Na een lange werkdag in je zetel kruipen met een drankje en een hapje, wel daar hoort Moes toch gewoon bij? Hij zal je ideale afleiding zijn om te ontstressen. En hij zal niet moeilijk doen over welk programma je wil bekijken op tv. Het spreekt voor zich dat Moes het enige dier in huis mag zijn. Moes wordt niet geplaatst bij mensen die een andere kat of hond hebben. Kinderen zouden geen probleem mogen vormen, al denken we dat iets oudere kinderen beter zouden zijn. Adoptieprocedure: Er wordt eerst telefonisch nagegaan of er een goede match kan zijn tussen jou en de kat, nadien kan een afspraak gemaakt worden voor een bezoekje zodat jullie met elkaar kunnen kennis maken. Bij adoptie wordt een adoptiecontract getekend en de adoptiebijdrage wordt betaald bij het afhalen van de kat. Iedere kat vertrekt met een Europees paspoort.
