Mojito

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 4 months

People-oriented, affectionate, calm, playful—seven little puppies, all alone, helpless and without their mother. They were found after a caring woman initially took them in and eventually asked us for help. We’ve welcomed the little ones into our animal shelter. They’re part of countless litters we’d love to help—but our capacity is long since exhausted, and every day we’re confronted with the painful reality that we simply can’t save them all. These seven puppies were lucky; they’ve been given the chance for a safe, loving life filled with care, warmth, and hope. Now, we’re hoping each of them will find a loving home where they can finally grow up carefree. Every rescued soul reminds us why we keep going—and at the same time, it reminds us how many animals are still waiting for their chance. Now, we’d like to introduce you to our seven little protégés one by one. Each of them already has their own unique personality, and we’re excited to see how they’ll continue to develop. Mojito is a little cuddle bear. He seeks close human company and thoroughly enjoys every gentle stroke. Often, he first observes what’s going on from the background. He’s rather calm but still curious and quickly finds his way back to tranquility. All the puppies will be ready to go starting at the end of August and are looking forward to finding loving families who, with patience and understanding, will show them just how wonderful a protected dog life can be. They’ll be ready to leave at the end of August. Their adult size is estimated to be 50–55 cm. All are vaccinated, microchipped, and have an EU pet passport. They’ll also be tested for Mediterranean diseases according to their age. See more information on our website. Every dog we place makes room for one of those dogs who are starving and emaciated, struggling to survive. PLACE OF STAY

About Mojito

What life with Mojito looks like

Mojito is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at A.C.E. Animal Compassion Europe - Tiere in Not e.V. in Greece.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇷Adopting from Greece

Frequently asked

Adopting Mojito, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mojito?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. A.C.E. Animal Compassion Europe - Tiere in Not e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mojito on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mojito if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — A.C.E. Animal Compassion Europe - Tiere in Not e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mojito already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mojito isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with A.C.E. Animal Compassion Europe - Tiere in Not e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mojito and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
