Molly

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

Molly a Cocker Spaniel mix seeking security The gentle mixed breed Molly is one of those dogs that doesn't loudly ask for attention, and that's why she immediately touches you. With her cautious gaze and delicate nature, she shows how much longing for safety and love is in her. Molly was rescued from a state animal shelter by animal rights activists. We don't know what experiences she had before, but her reserve speaks for itself. After her rescue, she first lived in a private shelter, where she withdrew because everything was too much for her. In the meantime, she is in a dog boarding facility, where she has gradually learned that the world can also be friendly. Molly is about 1-2 years old, 40cm tall and weighs about 14 kg. She is house trained and shows herself in everyday life as very compatible with other dogs as well as with cats. She avoids conflicts, she submits and prefers the proximity of calm, confident fellow dogs. Molly is initially shy, submissive and very sensitive to people. She needs time to build trust, but if you give her this time, she opens her heart quietly and honestly. Her affection is quiet but deep, a cautious approach, a gentle look, a moment of trust, which is priceless. Molly is an exceptionally lovable female dog, which is well suited as a beginner dog, provided you bring patience, calmness and understanding. We wish her a quiet home, also with a friendly first dog, which can give her additional security. Molly is now waiting for people who accept her as she is, and who give her a safe home, where she can arrive forever. If you want to learn more about our lovely Molly, please contact us and tell us a bit about your life situation and how Molly would live with you. The beautiful girl can hardly wait to finally become part of a loving family. Molly is being placed with a contract, preliminary control and for a placement fee. She is spayed, chipped, regularly dewormed and vaccinated, the rapid test for Mediterranean diseases was negative. She would be ready to travel from October 18, 2026. Contact:

Kontakt:

About Molly

What life with Molly looks like

Molly is a small young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Pfotenhilfe Antalya in Ansbach.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Molly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Molly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pfotenhilfe Antalya handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Molly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Molly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pfotenhilfe Antalya will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Molly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Molly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pfotenhilfe Antalya early rather than rehoming privately; they know Molly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
