Meet Molly, Your Future Best Friend! Age: 3 Years Old (born 19/3/2023) Vaccinated: Yes Microchipped: Yes Neutered: Yes Colour: Beautiful Tabby Habits: Fully litter-box trained Likes: Premium chin scratches, bird watching, and cozy naps and lazing on a sunny afternoon Dislikes: Dogs Molly is a stunning 3-year-old tabby cat with a wonderful personality and a strong appreciation for the finer things in life. She is a confident, independent lady who knows exactly what she wants and what she wants is a peaceful, dog free sanctuary to call her own. She will greet you every morning with a chorus of happy chirrups and meows and a quick paw tap if you’re too slow with breakfast. If you are looking for a loyal companion who will happily sit by your side or on your lap and demand your affection on her own terms, Molly is your girl! Molly is looking for a quiet to moderately active household where she can be the centre of attention. She is completely litter box trained, making her an easy, clean, and well-mannered housemate from day one. Favourite Activities: Ultimate Chin Scratch: If you want to win Molly’s heart instantly, a gentle scratch under her chin is the magic key. Indoor Exploration: Molly loves finding high perches, like the top of a scratching post, where she can watch her humans, safely spy on birds through the window, or nap undisturbed. She can live with older children but is not keen on dogs and has never known cats so maybe best to be an only pet. She would make a great companion for someone. While in foster care she has shown no interest in going outside but once in her new home she may want to venture out so a safe environment for her to do so is required.

About Molly

What life with Molly looks like

Molly is a young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Lincs Ark Animal Welfare in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Molly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Molly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Lincs Ark Animal Welfare handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Molly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Molly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Lincs Ark Animal Welfare will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Molly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Molly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Lincs Ark Animal Welfare early rather than rehoming privately; they know Molly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
