Momo en Appa zijn een lief broer- en zusduo dat zonder hun moeder werd gevonden. Gelukkig konden ze terecht in een gastgezin, waar ze verder zijn opgegroeid. Inmiddels zijn ze groot genoeg en helemaal klaar om samen op zoek te gaan naar hun gouden mandje. Deze twee zijn onafscheidelijk. Ze spelen, slapen en ontdekken de wereld het liefst samen.
