Morris Enjoying Water Therapy

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Puppy · 4 months

Morris came to us as one of a litter of puppies, but it was clear from the very beginning that he was different. He had serious problems with his legs and joints, and we knew his journey would be far more challenging than that of his brothers and sisters. We knew he needed something special—a place where he could recover at his own pace, surrounded by patience and understanding. That’s how Morris found his home at Mark’s finca, the one place we knew was exactly right for him.Since then, Morris has undergone surgery on three of his legs. His fourth leg, his left back leg, will only be operated on if it becomes absolutely necessary. For a dog who isn’t even three years old yet, he has already spent more than half of his life recovering, healing, and learning to trust his body again.Despite everything he has been through, Morris has never stopped trying. Every small step forward has been hard-earned, and every wag of his tail reminds us just how resilient dogs can be.One of the biggest joys in his recovery has been water therapy. Watching him move more freely in the water, building strength without pain, has given him confidence and comfort that he deserves. It is helping him more than we could have hoped.Morris’ story is one of heartbreak, but even more so, it is a story of resilience, love, and never giving up. He may have had a difficult start in life, but he is surrounded by people who adore him and are determined to give him the happiest life possible. Money donated past and present has helped Morris in more ways every imaginable and will continue to cover the costs of his water therapy for as long as it’s needed, so thank you .

About Morris Enjoying Water Therapy

What life with Morris Enjoying Water Therapy looks like

Morris Enjoying Water Therapy is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Live PAWS Tenerife.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Morris Enjoying Water Therapy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Morris Enjoying Water Therapy?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Live PAWS Tenerife handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Morris Enjoying Water Therapy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Morris Enjoying Water Therapy if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Live PAWS Tenerife will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Morris Enjoying Water Therapy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Morris Enjoying Water Therapy isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Live PAWS Tenerife early rather than rehoming privately; they know Morris Enjoying Water Therapy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
