Perry can already be called a bit of a unlucky bird, having lost his home several times - most recently because his owner passed away, and now because his current caretakers can no longer look after him due to health reasons. Despite having had quite a bit of bad luck, Perry is simply a wonderful dog. Perry loves people, wants to please, and is always eager to do things right. If there are some treats in the pocket, he is highly focused on one and ready to work - at least as long as no squirrels or female dogs are nearby. Our handsome fellow still counts chasing and dealing with the girls as part of his passion. It then becomes extremely difficult for him to stay on task when we want to work with him. Whether Perry is sociable or not still needs to be tested. For now, we assume it would be better to place him as a single dog. Additionally, there should be no small children in the household. For our handsome fellow, we are looking for young, dog-experienced people who are eager to help develop his potential and turn our unlucky bird into a true lucky charm.

Perry kann man schon als kleinen Pechvogel bezeichnen, da er bereits mehrmals sein Zuhause verloren hat - zuletzt einmal, weil sein Herrchen verstorben ist und nun, weil seine Halter sich gesundheitsbedingt nicht mehr um ihn kümmern konnten. Dafür, dass er aber einiges an Pech hatte, ist er einfach ein toller Hund. Perry liebt Menschen, möchte gefallen und unbedingt alles richtig machen. Hat man dann noch Leckerli in der Tasche, ist er hochkonzentriert bei einem und bereit zu arbeiten - zumindest so lange keine Eichhörnchen oder Hündinnen in der Nähe sind. Jagen und Mädels klarmachen zählt unser Prachtkerl noch zu seiner Passion. Hier fällt es ihm dann extrem schwer, bei der Sache zu bleiben, wenn man mit ihm arbeiten möchte. Ob Perry sozialverträglich ist, muss noch getestet werden. Im Moment gehen wir davon aus, dass wir ihn lieber als Einzelhund vermitteln. Ebenso sollten keine kleinen Kinder im Haushalt wohnen. Für unseren Prachtkerl suchen wir junge, hundeerfahrene Leute, die Lust haben sein Potential weiter auszubauen und aus unserem Pechvogel einen wahren Glückspilz zu machen.
