Mozzi was handed in to us and is looking for a new, calm home. She is very friendly, playful, and loves cuddles. The previous owners suspected that Mozzi suffers from an unknown allergy. However, the tests were inconclusive. Here at the shelter, it has been determined that the lady is allergic to food mites. This means she does not receive dry food, only wet food. Unfortunately, food mites are very quickly found in dry food. One should also limit her to the food she is currently eating, as an additional food allergy cannot be ruled out. Unfortunately, she has also tested positive for Mycoplasma (feline upper respiratory infection), which is why her eyes sometimes water a little, and a cortisone injection could make this worse. We are looking for a long-term solution for Mozzi. If anyone is interested in this lovely lady and is able and willing to stick to her feeding plan, then this sweet cat is waiting with her bags packed.

Mozzi wurde bei uns abgegeben und sucht ein neues ruhiges Zuhause. Sie ist sehr freundlich, verspielt und verschmust. Die Vorbesitzer vermuteten, dass Mozzi unter einer unbekannten Allergie leidet. Die Tests waren jedoch unschlüssig. Bei uns hat sich herausgestellt, dass die Dame allergisch auf Futtermilben reagiert. Das bedeutet, dass sie kein Trockenfutter bekommt, sondern nur Nassfutter. Im Trockenfutter sind Futtermilben leider sehr schnell auffindbar. Auch sollte man sich auf das Futter beschränken, welches sie momentan frisst, da eine zusätzliche Futtermittelallergie nicht ausgeschlossen werden kann. Leider ist sie zudem positiv auf Mykoplasmen (Katzenschnupfen) getestet worden, weshalb ihre Augen manchmal etwas tränen und eine Cortison-Gabe dies verschlimmern könnte. Wir suchen nach einer langfristigen Lösung für Mozzi. Wenn jemand Interesse an der hübschen Dame hat und sich an ihren Ernährungsplan halten kann und möchte, dann wartet die liebe Katze auf gepackten Koffern.
