Murphy is a 10-year-old Boomer mix. Unfortunately, his owner has passed away and there was no family to care for him. As a result, we don't know much about his past or how he will behave in a home environment. We are still getting to know Murphy. What we do see is an enthusiastic and people-oriented dog who loves attention and cuddles. Murphy enjoys being around people and is visible when seeking contact. He can be left alone, but this must be built up slowly. On the leash he walks nicely, although sometimes he wants to pull a bit. Outside he finds some situations still a bit scary, which is not surprising given all the changes he has experienced. Playing is not really his thing at the moment, but it could change once he feels safe and comfortable in his own home. 🐾 We are looking for a warm, quiet and stable home for Murphy with 1 or 2 adults, no children or other animals. A place where he can take time to settle down, be himself and discover that life can still be beautiful. Will you give this sweet senior a second chance? 🏡

Graag stellen wij jullie voor aan Murphy, een 10-jarige Boomer-kruising. Helaas is Murphy's eigenaar overleden en was er geen familie die voor hem kon zorgen. Daardoor weten we nog niet veel over zijn verleden of hoe hij zich precies in een huiselijke situatie zal gedragen. We zijn Murphy daarom nog volop aan het leren kennen. Wat we inmiddels wel zien, is een enthousiast en mensgericht hondje dat dol is op aandacht en knuffels. Murphy zoekt graag contact en geniet zichtbaar van gezelschap. Alleen thuis blijven zou hij wel kunnen, maar dit moet rustig worden opgebouwd. Aan de lijn loopt hij netjes mee, al wil hij soms nog wat trekken. Buiten vindt hij sommige situaties nog een beetje spannend, wat natuurlijk niet zo gek is gezien alle veranderingen die hij heeft meegemaakt. Spelen is op dit moment nog niet echt zijn ding, maar het zou zomaar kunnen dat dit verandert zodra hij zich weer veilig en vertrouwd voelt in een eigen thuis. 🐾 Voor Murphy zoeken we een warm, rustig en stabiel thuis van 1 á 2 volwassenen, zonder kinderen of andere dieren. Een plek waar hij de tijd krijgt om te landen, zichzelf te zijn en te ontdekken dat het leven weer mooi kan zijn. Gun jij deze lieve senior een tweede kans? 🏡
