Murphy wurde aus dem öffentlichen Shelter in Zalau gerettet, in dem auch heute noch getötet wird. Wie er zuvor gelebt hat, wissen wir nicht, aber seine Vergangenheit hat Murphy nicht gebrochen. Ganz im Gegenteil, der Rüde konnte sich seinen liebevollen und ulkigen Charakter bewahren und verbreitet stets gute Laune. Er bindet sich stark an Menschen und schafft es diese schnell um seine Pfote zu wickeln. Murphy liebt Streicheleinheiten und ist trotz seines Alters noch immer ein verspielter kleiner Rüde. Mit seinen ca. 9 Jahren hat Murphy die wilde Zeit dere Jugend hinter sich gelassen und zeigt sich gelassen und entspannt. Allerdings gehört Murphy noch lange nicht zum alten Eisen und bringt mit seiner lustigen, manchmal etwas ungeduldigen Art seine Menschen immer wieder zum Schmunzeln. Murphy ist ein echter Genießer. Er ist sehr futterorientiert – Leckerchen sind der schnellste Weg in sein Herz. Außerdem ist Murphy gelehrig und folgsam. Die perfekte Kombi, um ein erfolgreiches Training aufzubauen. Wir sind uns daher sicher, dass sich Murphy schnell in seinem neuen Leben einleben wird. Denn ob er in der Vergangenheit einmal Teil einer Familie war, wissen wir nicht und es ist gut möglich, dass er in Sachen Hunde ABC noch etwas Nachholbedarf hat. Daher wünschen wir uns für die kleine Grinsebacke eine liebevolle Familie, die ihm mit Geduld und Konsequenz die schönen Seiten eines Hundelebens zeigt. Mit anderen Hunden ist Murphy grundsätzlich gut verträglich. Er bringt aber durchaus einen selbstbewussten Charakter mit und gibt gerne den Ton an. Murphy misst etwa 35 cm Schulterhöhe und bringt rund 15 kg auf die Waage. Mit seinem etwas länglichen Körper, den kurzen Beinchen und den großen aufmerksamen Stehohren erinnert er ein wenig an einen Corgi-Mix. Sein warmes Schwarz-Braun, die freundlichen bernsteinfarbenen Augen und sein stets fröhlicher Gesichtsausdruck verleihen ihm einen ganz besonderen Charme. Wenn er einen mit offenem Maul und heraushängender Zunge anstrahlt, fällt es schwer, nicht sofort zurückzulächeln. Murphy reist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht mit EU-Heimtierausweis in sein neues Zuhause. Nach positiver Vorkontrolle kann er gegen eine Schutzgebühr vermittelt werden.
