Muscha

Mixed Breed · Female

Briard fans and those who would like to become one - pay attention, here comes Muscha Suddenly Princess - our Muscha (currently in a summer look) probably thought that after arriving at her foster home. Brushing, petting, affection, all of this the cuddly female dog enjoys fully and rewards it with all her love and loyalty after a short time. Our nice Muscha probably has the typical Briard characteristics, so we are looking for dog people who give her security on one hand, but also lead her with the appropriate consistency and clarity, because otherwise Muscha might take control. Once Muscha has gained trust, she becomes very attached to HER people and loves them unconditionally. Muscha is smart, obedient, and simply wants to do everything right to please and be loved. On the leash, she is a real model student. When meeting other animals, she reacts calmly, but at home she would prefer to be the only princess. In the car, Muscha travels calmly and even a few hours of being alone do not bother her. So, if you are looking for a loyal lifelong companion and have the corresponding dog experience, you are exactly right with our charming Muscha. Our dogs are placed in foster homes in the region and can be visited there at any time.

About Muscha

What life with Muscha looks like

Muscha is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierhilfe Franken e.V. in Lauf.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Muscha, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Muscha?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierhilfe Franken e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Muscha on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Muscha if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierhilfe Franken e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Muscha already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Muscha isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierhilfe Franken e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Muscha and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
