From Fear to Feline Friendliness This lovable furry companion, named Nacho because her ears look like nachos, arrived together with James and Noisy. They came from a place where 19 cats were taken from a home where they unfortunately suffered from abuse. They were very traumatized and terrified, and one can only imagine the horrors they endured. Especially Nacho was a very, very frightened cat. It took a whole year of patience and gentle care to be able to slowly gain back her trust. She spent a lot of time watching the birdies in our bird cage. Eventually, one volunteer got into the habit of hand-feeding her every morning, a routine that slowly boosted her confidence. As time went on, Nacho transformed into a cat who loves people, and her unique personality has blossomed.
