Namira

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Country of origin: Hungary And unfortunately, the unwanted litters keep coming—this time, four at once... The sweetest little doggies—Namira, Meliton, Kratosz, and Zerind—were found abandoned in the village of Orgovány and reported to the animal shelter on June 1, 2026. Not long into life yet already unwanted and cast aside—what a better start to life they could have had! Although the shelter isn't exactly the right place for them, where they'll have to grow up without their mom, they're still so close-knit as siblings and are getting a chance at a life as beloved family members. The quartet is already keeping an eye out for their future families, those who will accompany them on their journey through life and never let them down again. Of course, they don't have to be adopted together. Every day, these little doggies explore their limited surroundings a bit more. Despite everything, the siblings remain typically puppy-like: playful, curious, friendly, agile, and always ready for a bit of mischief—even if new situations sometimes impress or unsettle them, which is understandable since they still have so much to learn. Yet their childlike curiosity quickly prevails. They’re all eager to learn, and their new humans should take great joy in patiently and lovingly teaching them everything a young four-legged friend needs to know for their future life as a family dog. Likewise, new owners should be aware that, along with lots of joy, puppies also bring plenty of work and responsibility, so that they can grow into wonderful, loyal companions. They certainly come equipped with all the best prerequisites—but they need security and a framework within which they can blossom. They get along well with other dogs and love playing and romping together. We’re looking for a loving home for our golden little gang, where, alongside lots of fun, games, and action, they’ll enjoy long, varied walks suited to their age and energy level, where they’ll get plenty of exercise appropriate for their size and stage of life, enough quiet time, lots of cuddles, and tons of love. Add to that visits to a puppy/dog school, full family integration, and then these little doggies can finally take off and leave their sad past behind. Four wonderful puppies soon can’t wait to discover the big, wide world! Currently, all of them are still too young for neutering; this must be arranged by their new owners when they’re old enough. Their final adult size is estimated at 35–45 cm, and their final weight at 8–15 kg. As of June 23, 2026, Namira measures 16 cm and weighs 1.6 kg. The siblings can travel from around mid-to-late August 2026, once they’ve found a permanent home or a foster placement.

About Namira

What life with Namira looks like

Namira is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Happyend in Animal Happyend.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Namira, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Namira?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Happyend handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Namira on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Namira if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Happyend will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Namira already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Namira isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Happyend early rather than rehoming privately; they know Namira and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
