Nancy

Pomsky · Female · Puppy · 3 months

26-08-26 Nancy is a super fun and mischievous little lady who has come to us from a breeder as an unsold pup and is now ready to find her forever home! Nancy is full of energy and personality and absolutely adores playtime, especially when she can have fun with her doggy friends. She is a happy, playful girl who is ready to start learning all about the world around her. Nancy can live as an only dog in her new home, provided her adopters have plenty of time to keep her company, continue her training and make sure she gets lots of enrichment and playtime. Alternatively, she could live with a kind resident dog who doesn't mind having this playful little lady around! Nancy can also live with older, dog-savvy children who are sensible and understand that she is still a puppy. Nancy has lots to learn, as she has never experienced all the things that come with home life. Her adopters will need to patiently teach her house training and, once she is fully vaccinated, help her learn to walk nicely on a lead. As she grows, it will be important that Nancy continues to meet new people, dogs and experiences in a positive way. Her adopters will need to agree to take Nancy to appropriate training and socialisation classes to help her grow into a happy, confident and well-rounded adult dog. They will also need to agree to have her spayed when she is old enough. Nancy is a gorgeous girl with a big personality and a playful nature, and we can't wait to see her blossom with a family who will give her the time, guidance and love she needs. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.

About Nancy

What life with Nancy looks like

Nancy is a large puppy/kitten pomsky dog waiting at Many Tears Animal Rescue in Llanelli.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nancy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nancy?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Many Tears Animal Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nancy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nancy if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Many Tears Animal Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nancy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nancy isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Many Tears Animal Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nancy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
