Nanou is a senior female cat, born on February 8, 2008. She is 18 years old. Her owner is looking for a new home for her as she cannot move. Nanou was tested FIV positive 6 years ago and has been living indoors ever since, which suits her well. She is almost blind and deaf. She needs a secure home! She can live with other cats as she is currently living with Fiery and Mieneken, who are also looking for a home. She is very sweet and social with people. Unfortunately, the only photo we received from the owner. Please note: Nanou (and her companions) are not sick! They are only carriers but can still live a healthy life, as it turns out. It's unfortunate that many animals are written off by veterinarians just because they are carriers. Nanou is currently still in her familiar environment. We hope to be able to give her a home directly from there so we can save her a lot of stress. If you want to give Nanou a home for her old age, please email us with information about your living and living situation, as well as your expectations, and don't forget to include a phone number.

Nanou is een seniorkattinetje, geboren op 8 februari 2008. Ze is dus achttien jaar. Ze kan niet mee verhuizen en dus zoekt de eigenaar een nieuwe thuis voor haar. Nanou is 6 jaar geleden FIV positief getest en leeft al die jaren binnen wat haar zeker goed afgaat. Ze is zo goed als blind en doof. ze heeft dus echt wel een geborgen thuis nodig! Ze kan zeker met soortgenoten want momenteel leeft ze samen met Fiery en Mieneken die ook een thuis zoeken. Naar mensen toe is ze heel lief en sociaal. De foto is helaas de enige die we ontvangen hebben van de eigenaar. Wel te verstaan: Nanou (noch haar lotgenoten) zijn ziek! Ze zijn enkel drager maar kunnen dus evengoed gezond oud worden, zo blijkt nog maar eens. Zo spijtig dat vele dieren zomaar worden afgeschreven door dierenartsen omdat ze drager zijn. Momenteel verblijft Nanou nog in haar vertrouwde omgeving. We hopen haar van daaruit rechtstreeks een thuis te kunnen schenken zodat we haar veel stress kunnen besparen. Wie Nanou een thuisje wil bezorgen voor haar oude dag mag ons mailen naar met informatie over woon- en leefsituatie alsook verwachtingen en vergeet zeker niet om een telefoonnummer te vermelden aub.
