Nasus ca. 40 cm &#8211

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 1 year

Age: Born around 2015 vaccinated, microchipped, neutered: yes In shelter since: End of 2018 Personality: friendly, open-minded Departed on: 07.11.2025 Taken in by: Hoffnung für Fellpfötchen e.V. Background and Personality: Our Nasus was born around 2015 and is about 40 cm tall. He has lived in our shelter since the end of 2018. What the handsome male dog has experienced in his previous life, we can only guess. He definitely chose to approach humans with caution and remained shy and reserved. By now, Nasus has learned to trust humans and shows himself to be friendly and open-minded. Our visit in February 2024: Nasus was very curious during our visit and was happy about the treats we brought. He barked less and allowed himself to be handled well. Our visit in August 2022: Nasus was very friendly as a male dog. He let us handle him everywhere and took treats from our hands. Unfortunately, he has been pushed into the background by his cage mate Jack. Our visit in December 2021: Another progress was also noticeable during our visit in December 2021! Nasus no longer barked as much as last year, took treats from our hands, and even let us stroke his head. Of course, we hope that Nasus will get the chance and that the right people will notice him. Our visit in February 2020: When we visited him in February 2020, we could see progress from the previous year, as Nasus even took treats from our hands. That was not even imaginable a while ago! But Nasus is still a very cautious and insecure male dog. When we came to his cage, he barked at us. But he let us in and then retreated from us. Important Information: When the cage door for our Nasus eventually opens, allowing him to make the long and tiring journey into a new life, the trip will be very long and demanding. Nasus will need time to adapt to the new everyday life and to settle in. His people will need patience and calm to help him settle in well. Nasus knows only the small cage and will be happy to experience much with his people. Since he could be particularly overwhelmed by the new situation at the beginning, he will need time to adapt to everything. But Nasus will realize that security and affection feel good. Our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas, and neutered before travel arrangements. Additionally, every dog is in possession of an EU pet passport. Furthermore, all dogs travel legally with traces. The traces monitor the entire animal transport within the EU. Additionally, a rapid test for Mediterranean diseases is conducted before travel arrangements: Borreliosis, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, Dirofilariosis, and leishmaniasis! Last update:

Letzte Aktualisierung:

Frequently asked

Adopting Nasus ca. 40 cm &#8211, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nasus ca. 40 cm &#8211?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Little Souls handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nasus ca. 40 cm &#8211 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nasus ca. 40 cm &#8211 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Little Souls will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nasus ca. 40 cm &#8211 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nasus ca. 40 cm &#8211 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Little Souls early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nasus ca. 40 cm &#8211 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
