Natsu is a tender, playful cat. He was found limping and weighed only 2.3 kg. He walked straight up to one of the volunteers and stepped calmly into the carrier, as if he already knew he was finally safe. That very first night, he didn't even want to eat chicken. He was simply happy to lie on a soft bed, away from the cold, hard streets. After he received painkillers, he started eating again the next day. The X-ray showed that he had a broken femoral head. It was surgically removed. Although he would walk a little differently afterward, the operation was essential for his quality of life. First, however, Natsu had to gain weight quickly, or he would not survive the operation. For weeks he received painkillers, ate like a champion, and enjoyed cuddles by a warm stove. Natsu is een tedere, speelse kat. Hij werd hinkend gevonden en woog nog maar 2,3 kg. Hij liep rechtstreeks naar een van de vrijwilligers en stapte rustig in de reismand, alsof hij al wist dat hij eindelijk veilig was. Die eerste nacht wilde hij zelfs geen kip eten. Hij was gewoon blij om op een zacht bed te liggen, weg van de koude, harde straten. Nadat hij pijnstillers had gekregen, begon hij de volgende dag weer te eten.
