Naylani

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 3 months

Naylani is one of ten puppies born to Irma and is approximately three months old. She is expected to grow into a large female dog. With her black coat and pretty brown markings, she is a beautiful young dog. Her dark face gives her a very special expression. Her story began under particularly difficult circumstances. Irma was found emaciated, heavily pregnant, and with her legs and snout tied together. Shortly after her rescue, she gave birth to twelve puppies. Unfortunately, two of the little siblings were not strong enough and died soon after. But even for the ten surviving puppies, the start of life was not easy. Due to her severe malnutrition, Irma did not have enough milk to adequately care for her babies. Dorel took the little ones under his wing and raised them all by hand. Only through his intensive care could the siblings survive this difficult first time. Naylani has developed into a happy and open dog. She is friendly, curious and loves to be involved everywhere. Together with her siblings, she plays, fights and wrestles in the kennel. For Naylani, there is always something to discover - and with nine siblings, it will never be boring. Even though she is still small, she already notices that she wants to get to know the world. Her future people should therefore give her many opportunities to learn new things and accompany her patiently and lovingly through her development. As with her siblings, Herding Dog genes may be present in Naylani. The reason for this is mainly the appearance of her mother Irma, who shows clear signs of a Herding Dog. Whether and to what extent these genetic dispositions will be noticeable in Naylani later cannot be predicted in the puppy age. Herding dogs are extremely loyal and loyal companions who develop a very close bond with their people and approach their family with great calmness and attention. At the same time, they are independent dogs that were originally bred to guard their herd independently. Accordingly, they can be vigilant, territorial and more reserved towards strangers or unfamiliar situations. Naylani's future family should therefore enjoy accompanying a large dog with an independent character and deal with the special features of Herding Dogs. Loving consistency, clear orientation and good socialization are important foundations. Whoever understands and respects these characteristics can find a very loyal and special companion in such a dog. We are looking for a home for Naylani, where she can grow from a sweet puppy to a self-confident and well-socialized female dog. She brings the best conditions for this: curiosity, joie de vivre, openness and a lot of desire to discover the world. After her difficult start and the loving hand-raising by Dorel, we now wish for Naylani the next big step: her own family, which will accompany her lovingly through life and show her how beautiful a home can be forever. Naylani travels age-appropriately vaccinated, chipped, dewormed and flea-free with an EU pet passport to her new home. She will be placed for a deposit after a positive preliminary check. Many thanks to Gabi C.! You have given Naylani her name and thus an identity. Status: 26.09.2026

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank an Gabi C.! Stand: 26.09.2026

About Naylani

What life with Naylani looks like

Naylani is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Naylani, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Naylani?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Naylani on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Naylani if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Naylani already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Naylani isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Naylani and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
