Forever Hounds Trust have agreed to advertise him, to help find his forever home! When you apply to adopt Ned, we will pass your details on to his current rescue, so that they can contact you about your application. Ned is a big, goofy boy with a brilliant personality. He's incredibly affectionate and loves spending time with people, happily rolling over for belly rubs whenever he gets the chance. He's a real foodie and a clever lad who has made fantastic progress with his training and confidence. One of our favourite things about Ned is that when he gets over excited, he'll often go and find a toy to hold as a way of calming himself down. He's mastered his loose lead walking and knows his basic cues, including sit, down, stay and recall. While Ned enjoys the company of other dogs on walks, he can sometimes struggle to read their signals and would be happiest as the only dog in his new home. Due to his sighthound instincts, he can't live with cats. Ned is looking for a home with teenagers (13+) who can cope with his occasional bouncy moments. He'll need a secure garden with 6ft fencing, and his adopters will need to continue managing his tendonitis with annual treatment and ongoing pain support.
