V novém prostředí může být zpočátku trochu nedůvěřivá a bojácná – potřebuje trpělivost a klid, aby si zvykla a začala důvěřovat. Ale jakmile pochopí, že jí nic nehrozí, otevře své srdce a stane se vám oddanou, mazlivou společnicí, která si s vámi ráda lehne a tiše přede. Umí krásně ducat hlavičkou a dožadovat se pozornosti. Nejlépe by jí bylo v domácnosti bez dalších zvířat, kde bude mít své klidné místo a láskyplného člověka jen pro sebe. Je ideální pro někoho, kdo hledá tichého, citlivého společníka. Nelinka nemá ráda kočičí společnost.Je to další kočička od starší paní, která se už bohužel nemohla dále starat o Nelinku a jejích pět kočičích kamarádů.
