We do not know how she spent these years, whether in a home or surviving on the streets. But now we wish more than ever to find her a place that offers her the safety and security she may have never experienced before. Nelly is about 50 cm tall and weighs 25 kg. Her pretty fur pattern suggests that the friendly female dog is a German Shepherd-Mix. Nelly is currently still reserved and shy. She allows being stroked and shows no aggression. However, we are still working diligently with her to get comfortable with the harness, as this is still a bit of a novelty for the sensitive female dog. The compatibility with other dogs and cats has not yet been tested. Nelly is a delicate soul who, in the past, likely had to endure a lot. We wish for the beautiful female dog to find people who will give her time to settle in. People who will not place any demands on her and who will win her trust with empathy, patience, and routines. Nelly has so much deserved the chance to learn what it means to be part of a family. And to experience, step by step, that the world can also be a bright and friendly place worth opening up and blossoming in. Unsere zauberhafte Nelly mit ihren großen, dunklen Augen wickelt jeden sofort um ihre Pfoten. Die etwa 9 Jahre alte Hundedame durfte den öffentlichen Shelter in Bistrita hinter sich lassen und wartet nun auf ihrer Pflegestelle auf ihre Herzensmenschen. Wie Nelly ihre ersten Lebensjahre verbracht hat, wissen wir leider nicht. Ob sie einmal ein Zuhause hatte oder sich auf der Straße durchschlagen musste, bleibt ihr Geheimnis. Umso schöner ist es zu sehen, wie sie Schritt für Schritt Vertrauen fasst und ihr neues Leben entdeckt. Nelly ist etwa 50 cm groß, wiegt rund 25 kg und erinnert mit ihrer hübschen Fellzeichnung an einen Schäferhund-Mix. Auf ihrer Pflegestelle hat sie sich bereits gut eingelebt. Sie ist stubenrein, fährt brav im Auto mit, läuft problemlos Treppen und kennt Geschirr sowie Leine. Draußen ist Nelly noch etwas vorsichtig. Neue Eindrücke verarbeitet sie in ihrem eigenen Tempo. Sie bleibt gerne stehen, beobachtet ihre Umgebung und schnuppert ausgiebig. Manchmal friert sie in unbekannten Situationen noch kurz ein, doch sie wird von Tag zu Tag mutiger und offener. Nelly ist eine unglaublich sanfte, liebe und ruhige Hündin. Sie zeigt keinerlei Aggressionen, lässt sich gerne streicheln und genießt jede Zuwendung. Mit anderen Hunden ist sie sozial und verträglich. Auf ihrer Pflegestelle lebt sie problemlos mit einem Hund zusammen, weshalb wir uns für sie gut einen souveränen Ersthund vorstellen können, an dem sie sich orientieren kann. Das Alleinebleiben fällt Nelly aktuell noch schwer und muss in kleinen Schritten aufgebaut werden. Katzen konnten bislang nicht getestet werden. Kleine Kinder wären ihr vermutlich zu trubelig, deshalb wünschen wir uns für sie eher ein ruhiges Zuhause. Für Nelly suchen wir ein liebevolles, möglichst ländlich gelegenes Zuhause bei Menschen, die ihr Zeit geben, anzukommen. Menschen, die keine Erwartungen an sie stellen, sondern ihr mit Geduld, Empathie und festen Routinen zeigen, dass sie endlich in Sicherheit ist. Nelly muss nicht die Welt erobern – sie möchte einfach dazugehören und in ihrem eigenen Tempo Vertrauen fassen. Nelly kann jederzeit nach Absprache auf ihrer Pflegestelle besucht und kennengelernt werden. Nelly ist geimpft, gechipt, entwurmt, entfloht und kastriert. Selbstverständlich bringt sie ihren EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle gegen eine verminderte Schutzgebühr in ihr neues Zuhause ziehen. Bis zum Ende mit dir?
