Socialization is essential for kittens and goes well beyond the "12 weeks" mark. Kittens should be rehomed in pairs because they are social animals that need a lot of attention and company. Growing up and playing together strengthens their bond and provides more mental stimulation, which prevents boredom and behavioral issues. Additionally, they feel less lonely and safer, significantly improving their well-being. This also makes the adjustment to a new home easier, as they support each other. Furthermore, it is at least minimally important for future outdoor cats to learn cat language. If cats understand each other's body language and signals, they can better communicate and avoid conflicts with other animals or humans. This helps them move more safely in the wild and better assess their environment. A good understanding of cat language is therefore an important foundation for a harmonious outdoor life. Future owners agree to have kittens from our animal welfare association neutered at the appropriate life month (females at 6 months, males at 8 months)
