Compatible withMales: YesFemales: YesCats: not yet tested Since us since: Living location: foster home Refugio Amposta Spain May 2026 – On May 5, 2026, the clever and lively puppy Nero (German Shepherd-Mix?) was allowed to leave the Perrera in Vinaros and travel to Monika’s Refugio. We do not know why the little guy was given up and cannot understand it. Daniela was present upon his arrival and could witness how Nero immediately got along with Buddy (whom you can also find on our homepage). The two are so cute together. He also has no fear of larger dogs and moves very confidently in the small pack. We can only guess what breeds contributed to Nero. We estimate that he will grow to be medium to large. He shows great friendliness towards humans, is puppy-like playful, agile, and can already assert himself well when he wants something. For the young pup, we wish responsible people with patience who are aware of their responsibility to take a puppy from animal welfare into their home. To love him affectionately but also consistently train and guide him through his growth. Nero still has a lot to learn and would very much like to attend dog training classes. He should be appropriately challenged and supported with head and nose work and should continue to have the opportunity to interact with his fellow animals. If you are interested in training and want to embark on the adventure of owning a dog, we look forward to a message from you.

Mai 2026 durfte das freche aufgeweckte Hundekind Nero (Schäferhund-Mix?) die Perrera in Vinaros verlassen und zu Monika ins Refugio reisen. Wieso der kleine Kerl da abgegeben wurde wissen wir nicht und können es auch nicht verstehen. Daniela war bei seiner Ankunft vor Ort und konnte miterleben wie sich Nero sofort mit Buddy (den sie auch auf unserer Homepage finden) verstanden hat. Die beiden sind so süß miteinander. Er hat auch keine Scheu vor größeren Hunden und bewegt sich sehr selbstsicher im kleinen Rudel. Was genau für Rassen bei Nero mitgewirkt haben, können wir nur erahnen. Wir schätzen, dass er mittelgroß bis groß werden wird. Uns Menschen gegenüber zeigt er sich sehr freundlich, ist welpentypisch verspielt, agil und kann sich schon sehr gut durchsetzen, wenn er etwas möchte. Für den Jungspund wünschen wir uns Menschen mit Geduld, die sich der Verantwortung bewusst sind einen Welpen aus dem Tierschutz bei sich aufzunehmen. Ihn liebevoll aber auch konsequent erziehen und ins Erwachsenwerden begleiten. Nero muss noch alles lernen und würde sehr gerne die Hundeschule besuchen. Er sollte mit Kopf- und Nasenarbeit artgerecht ausgelastet und gefördert werden und sollte weiterhin die Gelegenheit bekommen, mit seinen Artgenossen zu interagieren.
