Nero: a sweet, social, curious, and playful one-year-old boy who’s looking for a golden home. Nero came to us as a foundling, and we’d expected that someone would miss this little sweetheart. But nothing could have been further from the truth—and so we’ve promised to help him find a place where he’ll truly feel welcome. Nero is just an absolutely delightful guy, and he gets instantly excited as soon as he sees you! He immediately comes running over and loves being cuddled and petted. He’s also very curious and loves following along with you to see what you’re up to. Nero is crazy about playing too—so as soon as you pick up a toy wand, he’s all fired up and ready to go! He lives here with other cats, and things are going pretty well. He seems to click more with some cats than with others—but that might also be because he’s just recently lost his “masculinity” 😉. We think he’d do fine living with a calm cat who respects his space. We’ve observed how he reacts to dogs, and when a big Bernese Mountain Dog entered the room, he didn’t flinch or show any sign of nervousness. So he’d certainly be great to live with a dog, too. Nero was found outdoors, and we’re looking for a home for him where, once he’s settled in, he can enjoy going outside again. For Nero, we’re searching for a cozy, loving home where he’ll feel completely at home!

Nero: een leuke, sociale, nieuwsgierige en speelse knul van 1 jaar jong die opzoek is naar een gouden mandje. Nero is als vondeling bij ons binnen gekomen en we hadden verwacht dat iemand deze lieverd zal missen. Niks bleek minder waar en wij hebben hem beloofd om hem te helpen zoeken naar een plek waar hij wel heel welkom is. Nero is gewoon een hele leuke knul en s direct enthousiast als hij je ziet! Hij komt er direct aan gelopen en vindt het heerlijk als je met hem knuffelt. Hij is ook nieuwsgierig en loopt graag met je mee om te kijken wat je allemaal aan het doen bent. Nero is ook gek op spelen en zodra je een speelstokje pakt is hij helemaal enthousiast. Hij leeft hier samen met andere katten en dat gaat best goed. Met de ene kat heeft hij meer een klik als met de ander, maar mogelijk komt dit ook omdat hij net zijn mannelijkheid verloren is 😉. Wij verwachten dat hij met een rustige kat die hem ook in zijn waarde laat wel samen kan wonen. We hebben gekeken hoe hij op honden reageert en toen er een grote Berner Sennen in de kamer kwam, verblikte of verbloosde hij niet. Hij zou dus prima met een hond samen kunnen wonen. Nero is buiten gevonden en wij zoeken voor hem een plek waar hij na gewenning weer naar buiten kan. Voor Nero zoeken wij dus een gezellige en liefdevolle plek waar hij heel welkom is!
